A few years ago I had the opportunity to harvest chardonnay grapes. Let me tell you it really opened my eyes wide. I really believe the unsung hero’s are the vineyard workers. The heat, bugs, bees, ants, snakes, birds, blood, sweat and tears. Maybe not tears, I pulled my big girl panties on and toughed it up. I will say, it wasn’t easy. I have so much respect for our vineyard workers and vineyard management. There is so much love that starts in the vines. Every time John and I pop a cork I thank the entire team!
