It’s a culinary expression, “It has everything, but the kitchen sink”…soups, cookies, sauces, casseroles…whatever may inspire you.
When I think of “kitchen sink” recipes, it evokes thoughts of creating dishes from ingredients on hand. Recipes are optional. I love thinking of the “Kitchen Sink” when I’m standing in front of the refrigerator or my pantry and wondering what goes together to create a tasty fast dish everyone will love. Or a cozy slow cook meal in the crockpot or Dutch oven.
My stories and recipes under the “Kitchen Chronicles” category are thoughts of these ingredients. Seasonings, sauces, butters…. there are no limits.
Just don’t literally throw a kitchen sink in the mix.
