Love this seasoning!
After our time spent in Greece, we have craved all the cozy spices of the Greek Islands and Athens. This seasoning hit all the right notes and lives up to its claim as being All Purpose.
Tonight, pork and tomato sauce.
So, this isn’t really about a specific recipe. This post is about time spent together in the kitchen which always seems like the gathering place. When you have family, guests or the television show in the background is Wheel of Fortune, there is always something going on in the kitchen.

So blessed to cook with my beautiful mom!
Tonight we are throwing together seared pork sprinkled with my favorite Greek seasoning. Mom is in charge of the tomato sauce.

Sauce is slowly simmering and mom is posing like the sassy Italian Diva that she is!

The “little bit of this and that method”.
My mom is not a recipe kind of gal. She takes a little of this and that, throws it in the pan and it always smells so good. Tonight was onions, carrots, lots of garlic and a splash of “maple syrup”. Yes, she experimented and it turn out delicious. So, no recipe, just dig into your pantry and refrigerator stash and try the little bit of this and that method. Remember, recipes are great to follow but trust your palate. Make it your own, like my mom does!

Pork is in, added peas (we love frozen), mom made a little rice. Sorry no pictures of rice.

It was a delicious dinner!
This was a great dinner in a bowl kind of night. We all sat on the couch and watched Wheel of Fortune.
It’s not always going to be formal, but it will be special!
Paired perfectly with Pinot Grigio.
