It’s a cozy Sunday morning in mid-January. The clouds are moving in, it’s windy. Coffee is brewing and biscuits are in the oven. Today there is nothing fancy coming out of the kitchen. Just good smells and warm feelings.

This afternoon, no pressure other than a quick trip to Costco to buy small storage bins before the sale ends tomorrow. Afterwards, a late lunch at my mom’s favorite Thai restaurant.

A simple day. It’s perfect.
